iPhone 11 Pro vs Gravity

Yesterday I accidentially dropped my phone from 4 meters down onto a concrete floor. Luckily nobody got hurt, but the phone clearly took a beating. The front and back glass is shattered but still manages somehow to stay together. The whole frame is skewed by a few milimeters. The camera system still works and even the notch is kind of intact: The glass covering the front facing camera has a hair thin crack, so selfies look a bit off, but Face ID still works. For now I plan to hold on to it until Apple announces the new devices in Autumn.

On this phone I had a transparent shell from Apple which is a lot harder and rigid than the silicon ones. I wonder if a silicon shell would have offered more protection 🤔 Anyway, I won’t be getting a transparent shell again since they show all the dust and fibers that collect inside.
