The last day of the trip. I stuffed my face with pastel de nata at the breakfast buffet and slowly made my way to the airport. I could not book a direct flight, the only one was Swiss Airlines through Geneva. My overall assessment is that Swiss Air is now what Ryan Air used to be in the early 2000s but more expensive. I hope to never have to fly with them again.

When we started in Lisbon the machine made loud noises when retracting the wheels and an odd chemical smell spread in the cabin. Same thing when landing. They unboarded us without much hassle, but when I turned around and looked outside I saw the machine was surrounded by fire trucks. Seemed to be a precaution, but still a bit unsettling. On top of that: None of the flights were punctual and from Geneva to Vienna they forced me to check in my backpack because the machine was overloaded.

I guess you also walk a lot at airports, when I finally went to bed at home the clock showed 11.200 steps and 8,12km.
