Montpellier

I absolutely adored Montpellier. You could feel it was a student town by how lively the streets were. Coupled with the architecture of the old city centre I could not help but to be reminded of Oxford.

I walked through the narrow streets, made short stops for coffee and reading and soaked up as much as possible of the relaxed yet lively vibe.

Where there is students, there is street art. The coziness of the old town is undeniable.

I roamed the streets a bit more, took a million pictures and ate like a king. Montpellier left a lasting impression and it’s definitely one of those destinations I’ll revisit again.

Later in the afternoon it was time to leave for the next destination: Barcelona.

I arrived quite late. After a subway ride I checked into my hotel (El Call) in the Gothic quarter. The room had no windows (they still put up curtains to give the illusion) and paper thin walls. I went out for some tapas and explored the surroundings. I was quite overwhelmed by the level of tourism.
The watch clocked 27.451 steps and 20,01km.
