There is no photo I could take that would do the Sagrada Família any justice. You could stare at it for days and still spot new details every time you look at it. It’s impossible to go inside without booking tickets in advance so I left the place. I took a hop-on-hop-off bus tour. I got off to visit the Jardins De La Tamarita and then further up the hill to Arnús House. The air was too foggy to see much, but I still appreciated seeing the city in full scale.

The Modernisme of Barcelona absolutely blew my mind. I’ve never seen tiles being used on facades that extensively.

I jumped off the bus at the Sagrada Família again and walked over to the Sant Pau Recinto Modernista which caught my eye from the bus.

After that I went down to the Parc de la Ciutidella.

Finally I made it down to the beach at La Barceloneta and had some tapas. I went to the hotel, 24.207 steps and 17,80km on the clock and went to sleep. The next day it would be time to leave again and I was a bit disappointed about my underestimating how much time I’d need here. On the other hand I was happy to escape the tourist masses.
